How To Sleep With Low Back Pain | Chiropractor for Low Back Pain in Lubbock, TX
One of the big questions we hear is, “when I have lower back pain how should I sleep?”, our best position is in a hammock position.
The Hammock & Fetal Sleeping Positions
This is when where you’re laying on your back, nice little elevation, and your lower part of your neck and back are flat with your knees elevated slightly. so putting a pillow underneath there is the best option for your lower back pain. The second option is more in the fetal position where you’re laying on your side. So we will have our hands out in front, never hands over there because then you’ll have neck issues. We want your spine nice and perpendicular to your bed and your knees tucked in a little bit.
So there’s two options for sleeping with low back pain!
