Chiropractic Treatment for Headache Relief | Chiropractor for Headaches in Lubbock, TX
Hey, how’s it going, it’s Dr. Greg Marin here at 1-Spine Chiropractic. Today we’ll be discussing headaches and how 80% of headaches are coming from a subluxation, which is what we treat and specialize in as chiropractors.
When you first come into our office, we’re gonna have you do some paperwork and do a thorough consultation to figure out exactly what type of headache you’re having. This way we can determine what’s gonna be our best treatment option. Before that, we actually do an examination, either the Chiropractic, Neurological, or Orthopedic examination to see exactly where the problems coming from. This helps us address if the issue is coming from muscles, bones, joints, disc, or a combination of everything. So after that evaluation, we might even take some X rays, because we have digital X rays here on site that we want to use to get to the root cause of the problem to figure out what’s going on underneath the hood.
Why A Complete Consultation Comes First
We want to make sure there’s no red flags because we don’t want to be adjusting people that don’t need to be adjusted. Also, we want to make sure we know what we’re gonna do to fix and address certain health problems. This way we also get it corrected for the long term. So after that examination and X rays, you’ll come back in and we’ll look at your X ray findings together to show you where the problems are coming from. We will get you adjusted with specific Chiropractic care, get some headache relief, take pressure off the nerves in the neck, and make sure the headache goes away. We want to put up a game plan together to make sure those headaches go away for long term. After that, we’ll give you some stretches and exercises to do here in office, and at home to maintain the headache relief so you don’t need to come back to our office.
So if you need help with your headaches, call our office and we’ll find an answer for you to get you the relief and the treatment you need!
